Did you know Belper RUFC is run entirely by volunteers? They are amazing! behind every try scored, beer drunk or party enjoyed lies a small army of dedicated unsung heroes. From the grass pitches games are played on to the kit washed for the game or repairs to broken chairs lies a story of someone who gave up their free time to ensure everyone else could enjoy theirs. We really couldn't do it without them. So, we just wanted to say a massive 'THANK YOU'
The volunteers make Belper RUFC special. Without them there is no club. Sometimes it can be difficult but the truth of the matter is that no matter how small or large their contribution ....... they are making a big difference. They are prepared to turn up in the cold. To ensure the game goes ahead. To clean up after the party. To stay late and get the job done. They deserve nothing but praise.
In Belper's 50th year we intend to celebrate volunteers! Former, current and future. We will be making efforts to reward and acknowledge the few who rarely have the spotlight thrust upon them.
